Robert Leptich - Managing Director, Co-founder

Bob Leptich is a co-founder of Ascend Partners. Bob has over 18 years of experience in the computer and telecommunications industry and has spent the last 9 years specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Ascend, as Vice President for NTT/Verio, Bob was responsible for the consolidation of engineering, operations and infrastructure of over 50 acquisitions, as well as ongoing oversight of infrastructure engineering, vendor relationships throughout the U.S. and the global Network Operations Center.

Prior to joining Ascend, as Vice President for NTT/Verio, Bob was responsible for the consolidation of engineering, operations and infrastructure of over 50 acquisitions, as well as ongoing oversight of infrastructure engineering, vendor relationships throughout the U.S. and the global Network Operations Center.

		Previously, as Vice President for Global Internet, Inc., Bob Leptich managed the ISP business unit and oversaw all technical and strategic planning of new products and services provided by Global Internet. Bob also provided due diligence and integration strategy for a number of acquisitions to Global's Security Software and Systems Integration business units, which were later acquired by Cisco Systems and Exodus. Prior to joining Global Internet, Leptich worked in key Engineering positions for a network switching company, Alantec, as well as Ford Motor Company's corporate telecommunications group. Also during his career, Leptich has served as a consultant and strategic advisor to several companies and institutions, including a Silicon Valley venture capital firm and an ISP in Beijing, China. Leptich holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree from Oakland University. Mr. Leptich specializes in deal strategy and negotiations. <<Back
