Prior to that, Michael was a founder and Director for OnRamp Technologies, a large regional ISP based in Dallas Texas, where he headed the network design, procurement, implementation and operation of its IP network. He was also involved with the technical aspects of the company's merger with Verio. Previously, Michael developed embedded hardware and software systems architecture for several telecommunications and government laboratories including Harris Controls and the Department of Energy's Super Conducting Super Collider High Energy Physics Laboratory in Dallas Texas. Michael graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering.
