Ed Kramer - Managing Director, Co-founder

Ed Kramer is a co-founder of Ascend Partners. Ed has 22 years experience in telecommunications and computer industry. For the past 10 years he has focused on mergers and acquisitions. Before co-founding Ascend Partners, Ed was the founder of Global Network Solutions, a professional services company that merged with OpSource, Inc.

 

Previous to founding Global Network Solutions, Ed was Director of Special Projects for Cable and Wireless America. Prior to Cable and Wireless, Ed acted as Director of Business Development at Exodus Communciations before it's acquisition by Cable and Wireless.

Kramer was also Managing Director of Global Internet / Cohesive Systems. Global Internet / Cohesive Systems was a regional ISP, Systems Integrator and Security Software Development company. Ed guided the spin-off of the key business units, the Security Software business to Cisco Systems, ISP to NTT/Verio and the Systems Integrator to Exodus.

Kramer holds a BS degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University and a MBA from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield , CT. Mr. Kramer specializes in financial due diligence and packaging.
